#AskStephanie: How can I stop talking myself out of things?

Let’s say you’ve just thought up a new idea, opportunity or goal.

But even though it seemed exciting at first (and despite your best efforts to follow through), you’ve already started talking yourself out of it.

Your thoughts have become nothing but negative and fearful, eating away at it until there's nothing left. 

Talking yourself out of things not only does this drain your creativity, but it also wears you down and makes it harder for you to raise your hopes the next time around. These thoughts have robbed the world of so much art that it's surprising any creativity is left in this world at all.
