#AskStephanie: what if I end up failing as a creative in one/three/five years…?

Existers:

Why get a tattoo when you could just get fat and stretch it out?

Why be a rapper with stupid colourful hair, you can't do that forever?

Why be a YouTuber when the next social media platform is going to outdo it in a couple of years?

Why why why, why do anything that might not be permanent?

This is the mentality of the weak, closed-minded; the feeble and afraid. This is the mentality of people who are trapped in their minds by a chorus of “what ifs” and fears that masquerade themselves as genuine concerns.

To this ridiculous notion, I would like to offer a very important counter question: Who cares if it’s not forever?
