Aspiring is losing.
YES, ASPIRING IS LOSING.
I talk to aspiring writers every single day, and they tell me about their dreams of becoming authors and making a living from writing all the time.
It usually sounds something like this:
“I would just LOVE to be a writer! Sososososmuch!”
But when I tell them that there are many, many solutions to this issue, it's like I'm speaking another language.
“What do you mean I actually have to put some effort in to make this dream work? I'm out. 😒”
I don't know what other gurus or traditional writing blogs have been telling you, but you can't just have "aspiring" in your bio and not be putting in any work.
