Holistic problem management
What if there was a system you could use immediately, at any time, to help you out of a creative funk?
That would be super useful, right? Because you're a busy creative, trying to get paid, published and trying to save the world. And technically, there’s nothing stopping you from doing all of that…
(Keyword: Technically).
Mentally and emotionally is a whole different story, however.
Why traditional writing advice doesn’t work
Most traditional writing blogs today are inane, outdated, and just generally unhelpful.
You know the ones - the ones that talk about plot points and characterisation, sentence structure and three story arcs. These blogs have their purpose (for a small segment of well adjusted creatives looking to expand their education), but they're next to useless for the issues that way more writers actually need help with, like creative blocks and feelings of worthlessness.
Feeling well is the secret to writing well
How much time a day do you spend daydreaming about how good you’ll feel after you finish writing your book...?
You will feel amazing, for sure, but being laser-focused on the future just drains happiness away from your present. The more you think about how much you want to become a best-selling author, the further and further away it feels when you’re trying to get all the smaller tasks done each day.
That’s when most writers get frustrated and overwhelmed. When our worth and our idea of success become so intertwined that the stress of trying to achieve what you want for yourself causes more harm to our wellbeing than good.
